Our New Logo....
So here it is folks. iGROW. You are seeing our shiny new logo, courtesy of the very talented Dave Lucas.

We really quite like it. We hope you do too (any and all feedback is very welcome).

Hopefully, as you stare in wonder at the new logo, a little voice in your head says something along the lines of ‘yes, it’s a great logo. But what is iGROW?’ An excellent question.

The Learning and Leadership Development team at IDEXX is inviting you to come on an adventure with us. I was going to say journey, but that doesn’t do iGROW any justice: it sounds too planned, too sterile. Adventure sounds more bold, more radical, more scary, more dangerous.

Don’t worry, iGROW won’t eat you. I don’t think. But what it will do is begin to provide you with some choice. The concept is simple really: create an on-demand, relevant, ubiquitous development culture at IDEXX, where all employees have access to content that is meaningful to them.

“Tell me more” says the voice in your head. J Well if you insist…

iGROW is going to be a work in progress. It’s going to be an adventure because we’re going to build it together, from scratch. What I hope it will become is a portal for people to gather and engage. A place where you can request a course, join a peer group, find a mentor, be a coach, ask for volunteers, host a lunch and learn… you get the idea.

Social Media is going to help us connect to each other globally. We’re going to pull up the anchor from Westbrook and sail out into the wide blue yonder of global opportunities. We’re going to find like minded people, learn from our peers, and get excited about development. There I said it. We’re going to get EXCITED about development.

Would it help if there was also cake?

My next post (I know you've been wondering) will be all about where this logo will be, how you can find it, and what it will mean....(I can hear the gasps of excitment and anticipation now...)

So stay tuned.

In the meantime - we'd love to hear your feedback on the logo. Don't be shy.
